Day 4 (4/30)

Bright start around 8:30 this morning. One more water cache then Lordsburg. Looking forward to a hot epson salt bath!




Pretty pricklies everywhere.




Found this little guy while accidentally off trail. Made it worth the extra steps.




Trail Magic!!! This is Apple camped out near the final water cache. Cold drinks, PIE, chips, and chairs!!! I spent about 90 minutes here resting up and hydrating. Chocolate Chipmunk was 30 minutes behind me and joined us. This was awesome! Thanks Apple!




Almost to Lordsburg, I can see it in the distance. That's there water tower on the left.




Trail ends here and pavement walking into Lordsburg. It was only a couple miles but it shredded what was left of my feet. It was a struggle to walk to the grocery store for dinner. Got some salad, italian dressing, chicken, and lemonade. Hot bath with epson salt and then to bed. I'll do laundry tomorrow. 14.5 miles, 6 hours hiking.
